The bank building at 4488 West Holt Road was built in 1979 for Michigan National Bank’s Holt Branch. This bank was a mainstay through 2001, when Michigan National Bank was acquired by Standard Federal Banks. They closed overlapping branches and maintained all other Michigan National branches under the Standard Federal name, including the Holt branch. In 2008, Standard Federal was acquired by LaSalle Bank, which was subsequently acquired by Bank of America in 2012.

In 2017, dentist Dr. Kelly Anne Snyder opened her office in the building, ending its long run as a bank and marking the first instance of local reuse of a former bank, which has since been a trend.
