While the other historic sites listed under this tab - Gunn School, John Taylor, and Pioneer Cemetery - are listed on historic registers, there are many other buildings in Holt which have fascinating histories. Churches and other places of worship are not included here, as they have a separate page. Holt’s present and former school buildings are mostly omitted here as well, as they are covered on a separate page. Historical significance is subjective, therefore any buildings 40 years and older qualify to be listed here. To learn more about buildings still standing in Holt and those long since demolished, view each building page below. Historic homes are not included here, but may be added in the future.
