Holt Assembly of God church had its first service in the present building on March 9, 1975 under the leadership of Rev. Rosella Fisher. Rev. Ron Arnett took over the pastorate in April 1991 and oversaw tremendous growth. In 1991, Holt Assembly of God ranked first place in the Assemblies of God Churches in Michigan for Sunday School growth, and ranked seventh in the nation.
