Also Known As:
Georgia’s Drive-In
AAA Heating and Air Conditioning

1994 Cedar Street, Holt, Michigan

Status: Demolished in 1990s

Opened: 1952

Architect(s): Unknown

The small octagonal building which stood at 1994 Cedar Street, at the corner of Holt Road, was built in 1952 as Pulver’s Drive-In. The building and restaurant were started by Glen Pulver, a Lansing businessman.

About ¾ of the building accommodated drive-in spots and the rest had a walk-up service area. The building had additions in 1962 and 1963. It also went by the address 1975 Cedar Street at one point.

In the 1960s, Patrick and Georgia Patino purchased the building and business. They renamed the restaurant Georgia’s Drive-In, which continued Pulver’s tradition of serving Holt’s youth, especially with its proximity to the Holt School.

The Patinos owned the building for the rest of its history. Patrick Patino later opened AAA Heating and Air Conditioning in the building. It operated under other names, including Aaron’s Heating and Cooling, and 4 Seasons Heating and Air Conditioning.

In the mid-1990s, the Patinos sold the building to Ingham County in order to widen Cedar Street at the corner, at which time it was demolished.
