One of few remaining buildings in Holt still being used by its original occupant, the mainstay Holt 7-Eleven store was built at 1997 Aurelius Road, at the corner of Holt Road, in 1972. It was built to corporate specifications and fits the standard 7-Eleven architecture of the 1970s. The building was constructed by Tony Paradise, who also owned the store during its early years.

In 1995, the store was purchased by Sandy Schneeberger who owned and operated it for the next nearly 25 years. Schneeberger and her sisters ran the store and became fixtures in the community.

The building received a southern addition in the mid-2000s. The interior faced several remodels through the years, moving from a centrally located counter and evolving into its current configuration.

The store was sold to a new owner in 2019 and remains a fixture, going more than 50 years strong in the same location and same building.
