A new medical clinic was built at 2132 N. Cedar Street around 1961, designed expressly for medical offices - MDs and DDSs. It was around this time that Holt saw an influx of doctors and dentists.

For several years it was known as Briggs Medical Center, named for its chief occupant early on Dr. James A. Briggs. Dr. Briggs previously lived and had his office at the home just south of the Delhi Township Hall on Cedar Street, which was purchased by the Township and razed in 1961.

Besides Dr. Briggs, other medical doctors and dentists who occupied suites in the building include: Dr. V. Jerome Merkil, Dr. John C. Hill, Dr. Kaare Lovoll, Dr. Max A. Rusher, Dr. Terry E. Burge, Dr. Richard J. Tatro, among others.
